PROJECT GOALS

The goal of this project is to demonstrate that I have the skills required, as well as a level of knowledge and understanding, to carry out the role of a sound designer. I also want to present the idea that sound design doesn’t have to be exclusively for game, TV and film but also theatre and live events, and that it also doesn’t have to be exclusively paired with visuals but that it can create this through audio alone.

SOURCES

My main source of information across my artefacts has been the lecture materials provided. I found them to be insightful and full of the knowledge required to learn about various techniques and methods of audio. There is a wide range of materials available from lecture notes, images, videos on techniques and interviews as well as demonstrations performed by the various lecturers.
